Hawkins thread seems to be the only thread alive on ted.
The results for the qtr are good considering the overall slump in consumption the almost 30% rise in top line is commendable. Hawkins has been testing patience for quite some time now. Have reduced my stake to 9%. Could not gather the courage to exit due to high roce and ethical mgmt
I think the launch of induction based cookware might be helping. They have performed better than prestige.
Fingers crossed

If the company posts good results for another 4
Qtrs , we should double our investment in this
Stock. With all the troubles faced by the co
In past 6 quarters , now they should not go
Wrong

By that time all the uncertainty will be over and you will have a fully valued stock with growth in line with earning only.
To get better returns one need to take a call for future(very difficult though). Look at Cera, Kajaria and Symphony.....those who believed in the story and bought when the things were not going that good had a great run.

Do not forget that stock is already priced at trailing PE of 34 and trailing yield of 2.4%.

For it to double from CMP, we need EPS of 150-160 (at 30 PE) and sales of 700 Cr with much improved net margins of 12% (FY14 net margins are 8.4%). All these are optimistic scenarios and the sales growth is key to everything.

I personally don't think sales growth will come in 4 quarters. Economy needs to pick up for that. So it's FY16 that everyone is looking at with great hope for Hawkins. It's upto every investor to hope or not.

Hawkins is already high PE stock so even after growth sustains, PE expansion may not be huge. So anyway earning growth will mirror the price escallation.
I feel it makes sense to wait to see whether growth is stable in next few quarters and then invest more. Anyway HAWKINS is a growth story and scalability is huge so even after riding on EPS growth one will do well.

It is not just Hawkins . Many stocks are to be treated only as fixed deposit stocks  in the current scenario. The last few years and the coming few years are really testing times for any serious investor as a stock can sit idle for 3 years and suddenly see an explosion in the 4th year and zoom .

To achieve satisfactory investment results is easier than most people realize ; to achieve superior results is harder than it looks .
