I am actually not comfortable at all when companies raise money after the not so old IPO ...offcourse some businesses demand it but still not a very good sign irrespective of the source.

What do you guys think?

I agree. In the recent past, there was talk of raising equity through private route at approx Rs 100 per share, which failed.

Now this rights issue will be at much lower price. Clearly indicate promotor's inability to raise funds thro alt route at decent price.

Definately, this is negative (Irrespective of Project)

It is a far better option for Dish to do a Rights issue than issue equivalent shares at 50 a share. there is no doubt they need capital but people are not going to give it to them at 100 a share when stock is at 50 a share.

As a shareholder, I am far happier them doing Rights issue than raising outside money at current prices.

if they are giving shares at discount to shareholders i think it's ok,i don't see any negative/positive. price can move up around 75-80 and they can fix rate around 50,ratio will not be good, i think ratio will be 5:1.

Is today's movement is associated with the Right Issue or any other cause is there behind it? If anybody has any idea kindly share !!

Shopping through the Dish -The next retail wave is here…thanks to technology.
If this model can work from technical point of view, then DTH players will have another source of revenue and can participate in the  Retail sector more directly.
