Fortunately, my life is very uninteresting. The brakes failed at around 5 km/hr and the car rolled to a stop because of friction between the tyres and the road!
Now if my life was like in the movies, it would have failed during the ghat section. I could have tried some handbrake stunts to get out of trouble.

Are you in your South India trip? I guess that when you have a brake fail all you need to do is get into the reverse gear the car would come to a stop but you would break your gear boxl
