Smartcat, you seem to be having the best run of your investing career uptil now. .....
You're in serious danger of being voted TEDdy of the Year! Clap Clap Clap

Danger?????

I dont see any competition in sight......
What I meant by danger:Do you think SC is mature enough to handle the success, the wealth, the groupies, the stalkers, the stress of being numero uno, etc., etc., etc. ????

smartcat,I understand Neverland of MJ fame is up for sale and strictly for celebrities , interested??
There are two times in a man's life when he should not speculate-when he can't afford it and when he can-Happy investing!

So now we already know chimps and parrots are better investors than us. How do we fare against the dolphins?

Hidustan Tin works is suddenly rising. The quarter results were good .
But someone is buying the stock in bulk.It is hitting upper circuit in BSE.

If people start drinking Pespi and Coca Cola in cans in India as in the west then the market potential is humongous.Beer is a smaller market in relative terms.

This year Hindustan Tin works had a positive cash flow.
What bothers me is that year on year the promoters have not increased their holdings. If there is a sudden spurge in demand /value then the holdings should have gone up.

In fact if we see over the last two years holdings have gone down.

These kind of spikes have happened before. And then the stock falls back to its mean P/E of 5 to 10. As long as one doesn't assume that this stock has been re-rated now and will trade at P/E of UB or Nestle, they will be fine.
