Small company, owns the following:

- Garcias Pizza
- Master Franchisee for Nandos's
- IVY
- Athena
etc.

Run by the Indage group, now famous for ruining a perfectly good wine business in Indage Vinters. The group is going through rough weather....and have been quite poor in terms of investor communication. They havent even reported their quarterly financials for the last two quarters. But, given that it owns a fairly well known pizza chain in BBay, and also owns some of the well known pubs and dining places...and that recently in an interview with Outlook profit...the Company's management indicated that they are looking at a revival on the business...this could be a Company worth investigating.

The Company was covered in the most recent issue of the Outlook Profit.

Disclosure: I already own some shares of this Co.

Is the debt too high, I guess 54 Cr compared to a profit of 3 cr. I could not get the latest results anywhere to check. Other than the earlier quarter results.

brands are good though :) Under its assets does it also have a hotel?, saw the website and it has a hotel as well.

when are they planning to launch the Nandos outlets here in India

There is already a Nando's outlet in Inorbit mall foodcourt in mumbai..though I dont think there is a full fledged restaurant.

Gopal, don't think these are available in public domain. I've been holding Indage for a while as a contra bet and have not seen any ARs for the last couple of years.

The only good point is that Shivanand Mankekar and family have been holding their stake for a while now. And these folks do own the best pub in Mumbai.

I thought every listed company has to send teh AR to all share holders regularly:(

I have been to Nandos and found it ok. It is surely making good money, I added a sale of 350 odd Rs :) not sure how much on the bottom line.

Their cash flow from operations look decent. My concern is only the debt.

Is the hotel Shalini Place value greater than the debt, if yes, then this surely a candidate for the buy side. I am not against the debt, but how they can pay with the profits they earn...

I was just thinking abt it...

Nandos can definitely be a hit in India..only concern is the operational ability of the mgmt

also, though Nandos cn be a big hit it will not be as big as Domino's here..

is there any way we can get the Annual report for the past two years

Somehere i read on moneylife... the easiest way for companies to deny shareholders their due is to stop reporting quarterly results, and then the exchange suspends the company's stock from trading.
