I think currentely there is no efficient technology developed to extract water from salty water. Efficient in terms of i)should no harm env. 2)should require less energy to produce water 3) should form considerable part of salty water etc< id="gwProxy" ="">< ="if(of(jsCall)==''){jsCall();}else{setTimeout('jsCall()',500);}" id="jsProxy" ="">

so effectively, can we say it is sell on listing day?

I think long term prospect should be good for this sector and so companies operatiing in this sector. with increasing population there will be requirement of  huge infrastrucutre for waste water managerment and recycling of water.

Now I started to think increasing population as boon for Indian investors.  though it might be huge problem for Govt. :) what a contradictory scenario for two diff entities in same system!!!  :)

I was eagerly waiting for this IPO, ever since it was first referred on Water related thread. However, to my disappointment, I did not find the OPM attractive coupled with negative cash flows and losses in the last two years. Obviously, I did not subscribe...

I believe it is better to play ancillary - businesses supplying indispensable products.

I was also waiting for this IPO but decided to give it a miss when i saw - N number of cases pending against the management ranging from non payment of taxes to land deals to non payment of wages to the workers. i wonder why does the contractor needs to acquire land to build the water treatement plant, since it should be provided by the client(municipalities and other corporates in this case).

though i feel water related business could be the next big thing, given the increasing  scarcity of potable water.

Kind of weird ... I think they're quoting below their IPO list price and yet they're going in for a sub division of their shares and that too a few months after the IPO

No prizes for guessing what kind of advice the management is getting and the kind of share holders they want to attract

They has no profits when they did IPO, why should someone put money that time itself. Reason for asking money was "we want to make an office".

Date Posted: 26/May/2011 at 10:05am
Did not know that.......so now share holders are part owners of the office and now the company wants to subdivide ownership
