Sunil Gavaskar refused this "Sir" salutation before and that meant a great deal for the Indian Pride at that time. I think we as Indians should not look for foreign certification!

We can learn from Sachin to keep on putting in our best efforts and not resting on our past laurels. He could have stopped long time back and still be hailed as one of the best. Still he continues to better himself and set new benchmarks.

Very true.He is self inspired. We certainly can draw inspiration from him.
