Watched the Suze Orman show on CNBC on Sunday. This lady in 2004 predicted that the market would return to pre 2002 levels. That was a stunning prediction. She also said that the US will be in a bear market till 2015, a point which is well taken as the boom in commodities which started in 1999 is expected to end at that point of time.

Alternative Energy will drive the growth at a later point of time. Green energy, Green jobs will generate billions.

This lady reminded us of an incident in the US. A couple wishing to sell their house, had a cash of 10,000 or so which they gifted it to their relatives as they did not want to disclose this to the IRA. As it happenned, there was a couple who wished to buy the house who offered less than their debts which they had to clear.
The thing is this- they disclosed the fact that they had 10,000 and what do you know! there was another couple who was interested in the house and a bidding war emerged. These people had enough money to pay off the debts.
As she sums it up, when one is honest about one's finances it draws out the positivity and which culminated in them a higher price for the house.
In other worlds, do not deceive yourself or the government.

Has someone seen the Gaurika Choudhary show on Awaaz? That seems to be have been inspired by the Suze orman show.

However, its difficult to speak with the kind of aggressiveness of Suze Orman. Although, I have high regards for Gaurika Choudhary as well. She seems the best choice among the anchors, even though she's no way near Suze Orman.
