Devesh: Though I am a bania and there could be a hint of a caste war (in the light of UP elections) but generally  companies managed by banias are not perceived to be shareholder friendly and supposedly do not apply highest form of Corporate Governence: Now these are certainly not the best in the field:

RP Goenks
GP Goenks
V Dhoot
Bangurs
Birlas (KM could be a small exception here)
Bhartia
 
There are exceptions here but generally the going is tough with a bania mindset. Bajaj and Biyani are the exceptions here.

I am also a "Goyal" and am proud be be one!!!
 
Subhash Chandra (of zee) is surely Goel..., as is Javahar Goyal (of Siticable).
