I am new to this forum and I was reading thru this forum for last couple of months. Since my knowledge in equity was bit poor, I was not active in replying. Now I have constructed a portfolio and request you suggestion on the portfolio. My term is 7+ years or more and expect a return of 30%+ annualised. HDFC BANK 8 REL IND 6 Bharati AIRTEL 6 Pantaloon Retail 14 Voltas 14 Yes bank 10 PUNJ 10 Dish TV 12 Titan Industries 9 Zee NEWS 4 CASH 7

I feel you have too much concentrated holdings on Voltas and Pantaloon.. I dont actually have idea about voltas although it has a impressive balance sheet with decreading debts.. Also I dont like cyclicals like Oil for a long term portfolio.. You have the banking sector holding 18% of your portfolio..! I dont keep any stock more than 15%.. Well thats a personal opinion.. There are more experts here.. I am a newbie myself..
