in a bygone era there lived a brahmin in ancient india
Brahmin was very fluent in many languages
his verbal ability and vernacular skilled amazed the top authoriy of those languages. one of the language mastered by the brahmin was urdu which cause resentment to a clique of urdu shayaars and they plotted to defame the brahmin, they organised a mushayara and laid the following rule for it that all the shayars will be divided into two groups and as representative of one group will recite one line of the sher and will choose a representaor from the other group to finsh the sher. An invitation was sent to the brahmin. On the day of the mushayara the brahmin arrived late and brahmin was choosen into the group who was about to be challanged the shayaar who was to recite chose the brahmin to counter him and said the following line
"hai shafar kafir ki jo bande nahi islam ke" (People who do not follow isla are not worthy of living) and called out for the brahmin to finsh the Sher
what the brahmin recite goes like this
"Lam ke mannid hai gesu mere ghanshyam ke" (lam an alphabet in urdu is like the shape of the hairs of shree krishna)
and there was applaud for the brahmin even from his challanger and they all praised him for his skills in urdu
the sher that was created by union of people from two diffrent background was remebered from the day on as a sign of unity
