I was extremely shocked to see reports that "Sources" were  saying that GE Shiiping was mylling a buyback and/or one-time special dividend????May I know whats the rationale for the same?
 
I am unable to comprehend what does a buyback and special do in this case. A demerger has failed so why shall there be so much ruckus?
 
So, those who were holding it for demerger should sell and those who were holding it for investment should continue to gold, its as simple as that.whats the need for buyback or special dividend? what us the management trying to compensate?
