This SBU contributes its best for the professional and personal growth of geographically dispersed students developing a unique study culture amongst them. This is achieved by providing education and training solutions through satellite based ' Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT)' technology.
This Live and Interactive Learning and Training Platform has redefined access to education. It enables students to have interactive sessions with instructors and fellow students across the country thus truly bridging the urban - rural divide.
We are equipped with several state of art studios / lecture halls from where the expert teacher delivers classes using presentations, video, audio and digital content to effectively communicate, engage and interact with students / trainees sitting in classes spread across geographical locations. The instructor and students are always visible to each other and interactions are as instant as in a regular classroom. Therefore a single instructor teaches students across the country without compromising on the quality of learning.
Thus the "Technology Enabled Virtual Classrooms" focus on developing technical and managerial competence among the students through development of specialized knowledge and skills from the best in the field, delivered over a unique virtual platform.
The Process Flow
We establish ?Virtual Classrooms? inside institutions and cater to the needs of the students. This is done in partnership with the institutions.
Execution
An instructor present at our Chennai studio teaches students at the Everonn Learning Centres spread across dispersed geographic locations. The students can see, listen and participate in the lecture through a computer and an LCD projector connected to the VSAT receiver.
This virtual learning platform at Everonn blends the strengths and advantages of traditional methods of education with the cutting edge technology. Using a powerful interface, it enables a student to share in participatory sessions with other students and instructors all over the country.
Everonn's virtual initiative thus redefines the very concept of classroom education, retaining all its benefits, improving its reach and enhancing collaborative group learning.

Chennai based IT learning company Everonn Systems India Ltd. has signed an MoU with the West Bengal state education department to impart computer education to thousands of students from 555 government and government aided schools in the state.
This could put the students studying in these institutions, in Paschim Midnapur, Purab Midnapur and Purulia, West Bengal on par with counterparts from private institutes in the IT job market. The announcement comes close on the heels of a similar agreement signed between the WB education department and Microsoft last weekend.
"The government will provide us with space near the schools. We will set-up infrastructure. A minimum of 200 students will be required per school to start the center. The curriculum will be drafted as per government guidelines. Everonn will charge a fee of Rs35 per month per student for the course. The cost to company for setting up infrastructure in each school will be Rs2.50 lakh," informed Everonn Director R. Kannan.
He also informed that the course would be offered to students from class VI to class XII. This effort at bridging the digital divide in the country would include vocational skills relevant to the IT industry.
"The company will offer turnkey solutions with complete range of services comprising state-of-the-art computer labs, designing curriculum and course material, providing teaching services and automation of school administration systems," added Kannan.
The project will operate on a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) basis for initial six years, after which the government may renew the contract. It would also have a placement division to also cater to the employment needs of students, besides offering job opportunities to local youth as faculty members in these centers.
Everonn has won the project by bidding for it. It also intends to create virtual satellite classrooms for these students.
