I don't think Jockey caters to the premium segment.
Personally (i know its nobody's business)i find Madura Garments inner-wear that is Allen Solly or Louis Phillipe or Van huesen better in quality but the advertising and promotion is minimum. But the competition would heat up as time goes.
Here is my take: Jockey inner-wear has a great brand value. And it would have the majority market share.
The design, advertising, brand value, brand recall and distribution would be hard to match by most competitors.
The only question that remains is the share value. I wonder if the share would shoot up if the company changes the name to Jockey instead of Page Industries
