I think it is better to buy poser T & D company compared to power generation company. I look to accumulate power grid after listing. Basant ji what is your view.

Power equipment ha spricing power power generators cannot increase pricing without a fight. We saw what happened in Delhi last year.

The government is planning to invest Rs 4.27 lakh crore in transmission and distribution (T&D) sector during the X1th five-year plan (2007-2012) to keep in pace with the increase in power generation capacity in the country.
He said the major focus would be towards strengthening distribution in rural areas.
Since gestation period in the T&D sector is not as high as the generation sector, the target could be achieved in line with the addition of the projected 78,000 MW of generation capacity under the eleventh five year plan.

T&D equipment manufacturers, Transmission Towers, Transformers, Switchgear, Insulators, ACSR Conductors, Turnkey sub-station contractors would all benefit.

Hi
Power looks good bet.....infact couple of brokerage house & pms guys are setting a year target of Rs 200/=......currently grey market premium is Rs 25/=......
ne 1 knows the date of listing ???
