I too registered once I read the article in OLM. I have been reading the views posted in this forum and find them to be technically enriching. I am an investor with some very moderate experience, but one who is now trying to follow a more systematic and mathematical approach to investing.

I look forward to many more enriching days ahead.

from OUTLOOK PROFIT--a rough estimate for these investors is that the current mkt cap should be equal to the profit it should make in 5yrs says BASANT MAHESHWARI who runs the equitydesk a self help forum for serious(minus kulman)stock investors.they look for managements that have both the will and the vision says maheshwari.full article available on outllok profit3oct2008 when the going gets tough-------
understanding both the power of compound return and the difficulty getting it is the heart and soul of understanding a lot of things

The idea is to look for companies with a low market cap which is growing very well. For example, a company with a market cap of 100 crs today and a profit of 20 crs can possibly becoming a company with a profit of 100 cr in 5 years.
It will be difficult for Bharti or other such extremely large companies to grow at that rate.

LOL ha ha ha

Because of this comment I'm not going to buy that magazine.

Could someone post excerpts here or a free link to its online edition?
