Hi,
This is for TED team and fellow boarders.
I would like to sincerely thank the TED team and Mr Basant for all the learnings that I have got from this forum. Earlier I never applied the theory to practice and was more of gut investor. With the help of the forum and basant's incisive analysis, I have understood the application of theory to practice.
thanks once again to TED team, Mr Basant and fellow boarders.

PS: I could not find a suitable place to put this, so i have put it here. I hope moderator will accomodate.

Basant jee,
how about distributing shares of TED to members as per seniority and then monotonies it. We will be happy to receive dividends. We ppl will not mind paying fee i hope to get tv18 type of analysis.

It is wonderful to see so much joy and happiness around. True the market contributes to this in its own way yet I am enjoying each moment of it.YOu know there are several ways of doing charity and this is one collective way for charity. Now let us assume that we are all able to create wealth in TV18 or Yes Bank or maybe in some of the nuggets that Reetesh provides then over a period of time we would have benefitted everyone with each thinking obligated towards the other. It is also very difficult to build an online community of serious investors and the kind of wisdom we have put in close to 10,000 posts is something which would be hard to replicate in the world wide web.

About the Tv18 yesterday was like a D-Day for me. I woke up early and seemed a bit uncomfortable with those butterfies in the stomach. I was woried not for myself because I was sure about Tv18 but the worry came from several investors who had bought TV18 and I was trying to visualise a reaction in case it listed at Rs 350 or thereabouts - but I did not expect it so far so soon Something that was to happen a few quarters later happened a wee bit earlier. While Pantaloon had quite a few early investors Tv18 was unique for me and today as I sit on a 9 bagger it makes me feel proud and elated.

And for that fees part in this current CAS vs. DTH talk while our company (Tv18) goes pay we (theequitydesk.com) would prefer to remain free to air.

Dear Basantji,

I am a new joinee to this site and have been going through all the topics listed on this site from last 3 days. Believe me, this site is amazing and is one of the best I have ever come across. It helps people like us to understand the rationale for investing in a particular stock.

I have started my career in investment from 2004 and have been mainly invested in IT. I had Pantaloon and TV18 in 2005 in my potfolio but sold them after I gained 20%. Luckily, a couple of months back purchased TV18 again due to de-merger story. But after going through your analysis I clearly understand that there is huge potential in Pantaloon and TV18.
I have started to rebalance my portifolio and will come to seek your advise shortly.

Thanks for all the help you are doing for the small investors like us.

Wish you and the members of this forum a happy & prosperous New Year 2007!
