See it is GREAT news for everyone who is connected with the industry. Even if they compete against each other imagine seeding the country with about (20 million set top boxes/DTH) over the next 3 years. The very fundamental of this industry will change.
Where did you read this. SOmehow I feel that this news is just too good to be true

exact date i forget but on one of the colouredsections of bussinessline or bs 2 weeks back where there was an interview with tataskys md soon after they hit the 6 lacs mark.i usually remember such news

trai has recomended roll out of cas in 55 cities with a population of more than a million starting oct2008.however the reprt has also stressed on the need for mandating interconnection and tariffs between broadcasters and operators to ensure successful implementation of the cas.the system would not work according to the report unless all operators offered cas simultaneously and unless there existed a regulated environment.the hindhubussinesline

ANswers as I see them:
1) ALl broadcasters especially the ones with less competition or the leaders
2) DIsh Tv
3) The ones in our Equitydesk XI are the stocks I would like to bet on.
The potential is HUGE some stocks could go up 5-10 times over the next 3-5 years. QUestion is which ones?
