It may take sometime for US to come out of uncertain time but the era of US dominance is over as China is getting increasingly aggressive in its stand on various issues.
Not only politics but China is there in sports, in movies, in infrastructure, in education, literacy, and in almost every parameter. What China currently lacks is innovation, R&D, and Skills. America is simply unmatchable. However, the gap will only reduce as we move forward.

Let's keep India out. The moment you include India, any sane discussion goes for a toss because of patriotic bias and people start discussing freedom, democracy etc. None of them have delivered anything substantial. We tend to overestimate India just because we are Indians.
