kulman ji..is it wise to listen to ghazals?? though i am a big time fan of jagjit...but of late i am realising that at times it dampens my spirit...if i listen to a song like "eye of the tiger from rocky"..i feel as if i should go on and make it large.....and if i listen zindagi tune lahoo leke diya kya by jagjit singh...then i feel like there s so much pain in life.....

music is the food of life...great words om ji....

what we eat is what we are....so it should apply to music as well..even more so bcos music is food for our emotions and soul...emotions are 14 times more powerful than logic....so if we listen to right kind of music we can create huge positive impacts on our lives....thats why subliminal music and motivational tapes are finding way to our daily lives....

I definitely agree with tyler that ghazals like the ones mentioned by Jagjit singh make u sad and melancholic. If u r looking for some inspiration then do not listen to them, otherwise as they say "Marz badta gaya jyun jyun dawa ki !!" There are plenty of "happy ones"  just sample..... sarakti jaaye hai , us mod se shuru karein phir ye zindagi(Jagjit), pyar bhare do sharmiley nain,phool hi phool khil uthe(Mehdi Hasan)
