I recently read a quote from Modi that he plans for Gujarat to become big in the shipbuilding sector.

Count on him to make it happen!

It seems like a natural fit for India, with our huge swathe of unskilled masses yearning for employment. Our cost-advantages will make themselves felt.
As India shifts towards becoming a supply-side economy, there will be plenty of domestic orders too.


If China can do it, so can we.
