With all gloomy economic forecasts & a feeling that the party is over my friend, TLSJ has decided to carry only this in today's edition....

Obituary

Mr. Bull
April 2003 --- January 2008

Your death has left our lives
without any hue,
Our world has become poorer
without you

---Mungerilals, families & friends

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Having said that TLSJ wants to remind readers of following thoughts:
The most common cause of low prices is pessimism. We want to do business in such an environment, not because we like pessimism but because we like the prices it produces. It's optimism that is the enemy of the rational buyer.---Warren E. Buffett
Dowry harassment on the rise.
In an exclusive report TLSJ reporters have found out that there is an exponential rise in the cases of harassment of married women in India.
Most of the cases are not reported to police or marriage counsellors due to social fear....what is popularly known as Khandan ki izzat.
According to an unofficial survey, top 5 demands of Ladkewallas are:
5. Car/Bike---latest model
4.
Money for foreign holiday
3. Apartment 2 BHK in a condominium complex having star amentities like swimming pool, health club etc..
2.
Gold jewelry
......................and the top most demand is.......
.......................
....................................
......................................
................................................
.................................................................
1. Money to meet Margin Calls from brokers for groom's failed trades in F&O.
A visibly upset & dukhi parent of a girl, when interviewed recited this small poem in anguish:
Bharat mera Mahaan
100 mein 95 be-imaan.
Indian team learning from Mungerilal
Indian Captain complains that the pitch was not prepared properly for Indians, so that is why they lost. Further moisture is blamed for batting failure. They say in first innings on first day they say that moisture & grass supported SA bowlers. And on second innings when India had batted, it had rained the day before, so again the mositure in the field helped SA bowlers.
What does the Indian team want, that the series cup should be given to them at there house only kiya.
The pitch was same for both teams, he fails to see this fact.
