Ha! Ha! Ha! Are you a marwari also? What is your title. We Marwaris are known to be banias but those days are gone and we all trying to graduate to the next level. The operative word here is "trying".

Marwaris RULE...doesn't it....See Birlas,Laxmi Mittal,Bajajs,Dhoot,Subhash Chandra Goel (he erased Goel from his surname due to some political reason thats what i m being told by Dr.BK Goyal,Dean,Bombay Hospital)...there are many...after all banias are experts in managing money...

Devesh: Though I am a bania and there could be a hint of a caste war (in the light of UP elections) but generally companies managed by banias are not perceived to be shareholder friendly and supposedly do not apply highest form of Corporate Governence: Now these are certainly not the best in the field:
BK Modi
RP Goenks
GP Goenks
V Dhoot
Bangurs
Birlas (KM could be a small exception here)
Bhartia
There are exceptions here but generally the going is tough with a bania mindset. Bajaj and Biyani are the exceptions here.
