I am sorry to bring this into this thread, but had to post this as I just saw it on the net:

Bob Woolmer, Pakistan coach...found dead. I will not post the entire post here as it is out of context of this thread...and just too shocking to read it. This happened after the Pakistan loss to Ireland and its exit from WC 2007.

Personally I feel Woolmer jee was a very humble, nice and disciplined person. I smell something fishy here.

Admin jee may move this to the relevant place, if they so wish. Thank you.

The most important quality for an investor is temperament, not intellect.A temperament that neither derives great pleasure from being with the crowd nor against it

Yes its really a shocking news and we should not be surprised to hear such events in future as well since  Cricket has become a very high  pressure game and lot of money/stake is involved and its taking its toll now

Cricket in India and markets of India both are sinking from past glory.

I dont follow Cricket and not a big fan of it so to say, but as far as my investments  in Media sector are concerned, I am worried if India and Pakistan are out of this World Cup Cry

Well!! market of India and Team-India both bounced from recent lows. Does it mean break-out or dead-cat-bounce ? We need some mugerilals at setmax aswell. Is bounce with low volume (week Bermuda team) entirely convincing ? I think not.

LOL good one!

You see I would also at how other Emerging Markets (Teams) are doing for cues. Then before concluding, let me study A/D ratio (net run-rate) etc. And small-caps are not entirely out-of-the-woods.One worrying factor is big FII pull out (Woolmer) from neighbouring economy.

WHatever be it. You know I am a Mungeri when it comes to cricket. I don;t care whether the bowler is Murli or Tucker what I enjoy is a huge six over mid wicket. Gives me equal satisfaction. That 400+ score was awesome. I know that this could be a one off but cricket ke liye paagal hai hum!

Now because there are no bets no money at stake we can all afford to be a mungeri and behave the way we like to. It does not cost any money and there is all the excitement to take up.

I think Dada has been a bit out of sorts his slow (relayively speaking) batting stopped us from conquering the highest one day score by any team. Now we are all smart in hindsight aren't we?
