Go Goa 2011: Gala TED Meet
Dr. Tigershark, a true Goan has proposed an idea to have TED gala event in Goa sometime during summer 2011 (Apr or May '11)
The two day event would be a brainstorming session, inclusive of accommodation, B/L/D with fun & entertainment. Perhaps evening cruise too!
The charges would basically depend upon the number of participants. The more the merrier. Accordingly Doctor Tigershark would be able to negotiate hard with the resort/hotel.
Comments/suggestions welcome!
P.S.: Additional bonus---There will a Doctor on the house who has kindly agreed to offer free eye check up facility provided spectacles are bought from Fastrack.

Organising free check up camps is the best way to advertise for Doctors!

I do not trust doctors though - I know tigershark is looking for fresh funds to invest. Last time I visited him for a free checkup, he suggested I go for glucoma, cataract and Lasik surgery at his clinic. Apparently, only then I'll be able to clearly see where the stock markets are going.
Goa TED fest is a brilliant idea - but why next year? October is one of the best times to visit Goa - it will be drizzling and ocassionally raining but there won't be thousands of tourists thronging the beach. We can have Goa for ourselves.

Wow! October I am of to Kashmir - if situation improves there tickets are booked though.
How about November, December or January? Between April and May APril, seems better.

OK no October. But what I'm trying to say is Apr 2011 is too far away. Most of us will forget all about it and other commitments might come up.
