Hi Basant ji...

I see the site has a new layout and really like it. The look and feel of the new site is beautiful and practical.

Congratulations and thanks for the wonderful medium of communication and sharing of knowledge. It is a boon for investor like me who do not have a finance back ground.

Hope it improves and keeps growing for years to come.

Cheers

Basantji, I've just viewed TED with Internet Explorer 6, Google Chrome, the latest Firefox and another browser, K-Meleon.

Except for IE6, the others had a problem with ads overlapping the topic area.

With IE6, it is okay but designed for a broad screen which is not really necessary, in my humble opinion.

That's all for now...

Thanks, there are still some small bugs here and there but I am sure the backend guys wil be able to fix them up. I am listing the changes that have happened:

1) A blog where I will try and write something more frequently (as if I do not right now)!

2) The forum gets more coverage on the home page with the three main subforums being listed with the 20 most active topics of each of these sub forums.

3) Most Active Teddies as per a) All time and b) Last one month so it would be nice if peole can upload their photos instead of the images. Many fund managers visit the site so maybe they would be able to spot you while you are crossing the road. But Teddies who have been more critical of that so called "expert" better watch out for that fund manager who is on the wheels with an accelerator before you cross that road!

4) Most participated Topics since the forum has been born. Needless to say we have PRIL and TV18 there.

5) In (4)  above the listing narrows down as you move to the subforums to the most active topics within the subforum.

6) Teddies who have started new topics can view them in terms of participation on the forum pages.

7) We have a space for bookmarking and emailing the pages and sharing it on yahoo, diggit etc.

8) A couple of new features are still being added and should be up soon.

9) Plus we have the advertisements flowing more freely then before.Embarrassed

Basant jee, I dont think I need to mention it again but TED is going the right way. Looks great & I am sure the bits and pieces here and there that need to be improved will be changed as time goes by. I would be eagerly looking out for that "self-blog" of yours and your thoughts from time to time.

Very Happy for TED. Jai Ho TEDdies!!!Clap

The forum seems to be observing Pacific Standard Time. Is that because our markets are heavily infuenced by what happens in the US of A?

Basant ji,

Congrates on a great new TED look. One suggestion here - in earlier version, after visiting a link, colour of the link was changed which was very helpful to track if a page was already visited by me.

Now in the New TED, both the new links and the already visited link colour is same. Now it is a bit hard to figure out if a link has already been visited as the colour of the link does not change.

The future is never clear, you pay a very high price in the stock market for a cherry consensus. Uncertainty actually is the friend of the buyer of long-term values. - Warren Buffet
