Top 2 holdings account for 68% of his portfolio. That's a huge huge bet. But then that's the professor!

Why so much betting on India InfoLine? But India Infoline has been growing at a tremendous pace.  Definitely this is a Hige bet. I bought this company at around 200 levels after the May 2006 correction was over but sold it after it became a 2 Baggar for me. I never imagined that this would go up so steeply. But again anything can happen in a Bull Market.

can 4 smart minds be wrong on this one----DISH TV. KB, GS, AP,AND PM. wouldnt have these guys taken into account competition as one of the risk factors.
understanding both the power of compound return and the difficulty getting it is the heart and soul of understanding a lot of things

Prof.Mankekar's Entry point:

India Infoline - 638
Dish TV - 63
Zee News - 42
Asian Electronics - around 230
PVR - 250

Rest i have no idea. Why is he still invested in NIIT inspite of its underperformance ?
