one stock i recently read about in fortune india is:
danison hydraulics a company based in hyderabad.
expecting turn over of about 80cr this yr.
it is 3decade old company.
good fundamentals. listed only on bse.
comment from any of the member who knows about this company?

eq capital: 1.8cr, cmp 385/-. mcap: 70.2 cr.
products: hydraulic pumps/valves/cylinders/accessories/motors.
user industry:engineering, industrial, consstruction, agriculture.
major expansion carried out last yr (no figures given)
first qrtr of fiscal:: opm improved by 220 basis points,
quarter ending junes: ales growth 59%, np 68%
fy ends in sep
3months forward PE of 7.2
promoters holding: 73% (increased by 14% in last 1yr)
fii: 13.01%
next yr (E): sales 75cr, np14cr, eps: 85, per 4.3.
by 2008 bv (E): bv: 250, ronw33.8%
current bv: 116.7, ronw: 31.5

What tyurnaround are you talking about? Was this company ever in a spot of bother. just asking as to me turnaround means becoming profit making from loss making. so, in case you aware of that case, do share.

thats the beauty with a small cap play. On such an equity, a small jump in profits leads to amplified change in EPS and the probability of a still more amplified change in price is also quite possible. These are gems but when will the pice be discovered nobody knows. Howevr, I didnt like the dividend amount. In case you earn so much why such a pathetic dividend. This company has only to increase the dividend and then the price will go through the roof. A stock like this will attract value investor immediately and accompanied by a decent yield , the price will be anyone's guess.....

us121, I think an eps of Rs. 83 is quite a difficult task until and unless you know of anything specific development that will be taking place.
