I think people from Pali-Marwad are called banias, others are not banias...
Bubblevision there are many Goyals....i m too Goyal (gotra)..my mom says there are 18 gotra in marwaris...

That is news I thought all marwaris are banias. There is just too much confusion in this caste system - too many variables!!!
