No clear information of effect of Air India loan restructuring on PSU banks is available.Some analysts are making a passing mention to this as if it is no matter at all...

PSU banks only good for trading. Buy @ 5-7% dividend yield, sell at 20-25% gain or exit if no movement for 3-4 months.

I will never invest long term in a PSU Bank. Actually talking of NPAs, even in private banks you have to be selective.

Good stocks can go down for no reason. Bad stocks can go up for no reason.

Andhra bank is something i am buying.. there could be other good psu banks

No view on HDFC bank. Incidentally he was abuyer in HDFC bank in the late 90's post listing.

He expects large scale defaults to blow up the banking space .

This was in 2009. It would be interesting to learn what happened to Big Bear after this.
