People's Revolution:
Is this new trend emerging world over? all people in world are not content with their Govt. I think before also they were not. but now with emerging technologies it has become easier to communicate and mobilize. Will this trend be positive or negative over long term? History tells us over long term revolution brought prosperity to people. History also tells us whenever there is big income inequality, world faces such kind of revolution.

For a revolution to occur, the protests need to be focussed and the goals have to be clear. The present "anti-Wall Street" protests seem to be a passing fad. These protesters have a range of issues from healthcare reform, an end to US wars, the scrapping of the death penalty, and so on. The flip side of social media sites and 24x7 TV is that they give ample scope to a lot of people to get their "15 mins of fame".

So what you say is that everybody should be well understood of the complexity of issues and clear in goals to be eligible of called a true protester or is a fad.
