I beleive media is to be blamed a lot for this debacle.... before the bangladesh match some channels invited some fore-tellers, rather day dreamers( I hate to call them as astrologer as they do serious dAamage to the science of astrology than good) and they predicted what will happen... all basically pointing that India will win big....and they also painted who will be the match-winner etc....

I thought of a wonderful analogy.... it seemed very much like what CNBC does.... they invite some jokers who call themselves technical analysts.... when they simply look at intra-day tick charts or a 1-day chart and make prediction , and in the process make fun of the entire community of technical analysts.... these TAUs also say which component of sensex will do well..... just like the day dreamers said which player will contribute how much to the team....

Absolutely correct about TAU's Vivek...I once saw a TAU ... technically analysing a stock which was listed on the same day! Shocked

I think this whole analysis (TA and FA) business is hugely hyped!!!

Media will do whatever it can to raise TRP and revenue. I know they create that hype but then their job is like that so we cannot blame that though I also feel that the hype is almost always overdone.

KUlmanji : So you can see the funny side out of this as well. Great job. BTW how much has Knight frank valued those properties at?

ICC meeting is underway in Jamaica. It is rumoured that they are discussing removal of Test Playing status of India. It seems Ireland will replace us in that league.

This way ICC could minimize BCCI's clout too. Ek hi pathhar mein do shikaar.

You know guys, one person reportedly died of heart-attack(as reported on Zee News) when he gradually saw India go down. It is sad really. Sachin has been a gross underperformer in many previous matches. It doesn't matter what the records of all thes gr8s like Dravid, Tendulkar or Ganguly is...what has happened in World Cup is beyond anything and 100% unforgiveable.

Axes should fall heavily on all, and little heavily on Ganguly(he has already paid more than his due and even then played better than all in this WC).

All this politics that was played, fortunately the justice has been done very fast. Usually, politics anywhere takes a lot of time before it is punished.

I hope India emerges as a great team after all this and REAL TALENTED PEOPLE ARE GIVEN DUE CHANCE TO PLAY FOR INDIA...and most importantly and hopefully OTHER SPORTS get more attention than now(like hockey, boxing, kabaddi etc.) and cricket shares 25% of that overall attention. THiS would really make me the happiest!!!!

The most important quality for an investor is temperament, not intellect.A temperament that neither derives great pleasure from being with the crowd nor against it

I loved the way Sachin Tendulkar (for me he is not a Master Blaster)  was bowled yesterday. Thumbs%20Up to Fernando. Great work keep it up. I m bit worried about Pantaloon and ITC whose products are being named after him. Thumbs%20Up to Bharti Airtel as well for making a good decision by not renewing his contract.
