I was looking at the consolidated financial statements of Asian paints. I couldn't match the figures for Investments in Balance-sheet with the Cash Flow statemnets. Also, the Cash & Equivalent figure in the Balance Sheet is not getting matched with the Cash & Equivalents in the Cash Flow Statements.

I might have missed something. So! I request people to check it on. Or, there might be something new for me to learn here.

Plus, their Working Capital amount has dropped steeply. How're they going to run their business? Will they be proceeding for loans?

I think the Cash & Equivalents in Cash Flow Staements has been bifurcated into Cash & bank balance of 105 crores under Current assets & 531 crores of Current Investments...


But still what about lowered working capital? How is it going to get managed?

Hummm - the stock price is ~2300.00. Let us see how it behaves on those queries. Wish it come down to get an entry.
