a point of not much significance but still worth mentioning--- whenever mr kulman buys a product the stock of that company generally tends to do well
understanding both the power of compound return and the difficulty getting it is the heart and soul of understanding a lot of things

Solid TIP:  i'm planning to come to Goa soon. I might buy and consume Dr. Mallya's magic syrup(s) during my stay there.

Why promotors pf Page are constantly selling their share in small quantity in last one year?  Any one has any idea on that?.... Is it to increase floating stock in the market to avoid price manipulation?

It is to keep stock price & speculative elements in check !!!

What may happen when they start buying instead??

Fundamentalists and anticipators may have difficulties with risk control because a trade keeps looking ‘better’ the more it goes against them....Ed Seykota

If they start buying, investor won't feel negative. At least they can stop selling now.

If they give this type of results like they gave in last quarter then the capacities will get exaust before 2012 what management had said in 2008 conference call.

they had accepted that third quarter is always a lean quarter due to winter.
generally this company run under 70-80% capacities.
there should be explosion in bottomline and sure they will announce another capacity expansion before 2012.

You will do well if you focus on the business rather then on the promoter share sale. I have seen that a weak business with promoter buying back shares is bad for investors(India Bulls being a case in point) and a strong business with constant promoter selling is good for shareholders from the returns perspective.

This remains a solid business to own irrespective of what the promoters are selling for and we have spent too many days playing this music. Haven't we?Confused

Last week, defore going out of station i made an yearly trip to the nearby Jockey store in Hyderabad to buy some inner wear.... (my old jockeys were looking a bit ragged)

Prices seems to have risen since my last visit, inner vests were not available as they were sold out, the attendants were extremely courteous..encouraged by them I also bought a few tracks which i typically buy from sports stores....

One big change i noticed was that i saw a higher proportion of ladies in the store

I also chatted with the store owner who was a bit reserved about discussion his margins, but mentioned that business is good and they expect to have a much better future ahead...The best part is i forgot to pick up my altered tracks and these guys came to my home and dropped it

It's just amazing how they're looting folks just by branding so well.

Finances aside......I think this might be a better business than even Hawkins.

I realized i should do more research in shops rather than on my computer....
