Good results.. Sales growth is there which is quite good. How they respond to competition would be the question. Also when would promoters stop reducing their stake may be another question.. There stake is down by more than 6% in last one year..

Seems on track, no great shakes though. Market will ultimately pay for earnings growth and even if they can maintain a 25%-30% CAGR its investors will do well.

Based on strong brand value, consistent earnings, pricing power, and EPS of around 35-36, Basantji, dont you think Page is an equally good buy as titan? At trailing pe of 25, personally I think it makes a great buy because I dont see the growth slowing in the foreseeable future. The brand loyalty for the brand is amazing.

Stockmarket is a weird place. For every person who buys a stock there is a person who sells it and both think they are very smart.

True.
One Mumbai based agency Syndicate Textiles/Surya Agency has organised Jockey Factory Seconds Sale in Pune since yesterday.
I went to one of the locations & was overwhelmed by the response they are getting to this Sale. The sale is
on for one more week. The goods are factory rejects so have some minor defect. Here are few pics from the location:
Disclaimer of a value buyer: I bought couple of chaddis for Rs. 55 per pc (Market price Rs.75).

They do have two shops in Bangalore which sells seconds of Jockey.
Since more than a month, these shops do not have any stock.
Looks like all of them might be shifted to Pune!!!

Another thing about chaddis is they need to be replaced much more frequently than say a cooker or a watch or jewellery. And if market crashes, they need even more frequent replacements. So the stock seems to be a stock for all seasons. Question remains about entry price only.
