At the share prices of today can you please tell which will be a better share to invest in with a 3- 5 years out look on a relative basis of comparison .... Page industries ...... or ....... Hawkins.
Please if possible do also give your reasoning or calculations if any

I would vote for Hawkins . To my understanding it is very obvious . All parameters like ROE , EPS, PE EPS growth seem to favor Hawkins.

page industries ltd. reported net profit of Rs 9.93 crore in the quarter ended march 2010 as against net profit of Rs 5.55 crore during the previous quarter ended march2009. Sales rose 46.5% to Rs 82.68 crore in the quarter ended march2010 as against Rs 56.40 crore during the previous quarter ended march2009, EPS for the quarter was rs 8.9 as against rs.4.98.
Sales for the year ended march 2010 increased 33.4% to rs 339.37 crore as against rs 254.65 crore,net profit was 39.61 crore as against 31.63 crore,
full year EPS was rs35.51 as against rs28.36 for the year ended march 2009.

 page has surprised everyone with its q4 results. With a EPS of 35.5 it is now quoting at 23.3 PE. Assuming a growth rate of 30%, its PEG is 0.8
