Hi Manish
ROE =PAT/(Eqty+Reserves&Surplus)
RoNW=EBIT(Eqty+R&S+Debt)
ROE is related to Equity share holders only and Networth mostly means capital employed which will be debt +Equity.

Net worth is the same as shareholders equity. In the above case RoNW is nothing but the RoE and the expression alongside RoNW is the RoCE formula.

I went to the leading textile shop here and purchased 1 jockey shorts.On enquiring I was surprised to hear that Jockey outsells VIP.Bu then this a town with lots of rich folks. Overall,in India VIP outsells Jockey does it not?Jockey is the No.1 only in the premium segment.

Maths goes like this.
Indian Population: 100 Cr
Premium segment: lets assume 10% it gives 10 Cr
Average cost of innerwear: 150/- (Its very conservative)
Above give me sales figure of 150x10 = 1500Cr !!! and present annual sale is hardly less than 20% of this figure. If Page plays its act well then its a multibagger in long run.

Somewhere I read that combine market for men+women's undies are around 5000 crores now and it's been growing double digit.. There's virtually one "brand" in undies so far..

Thanks.
