It will reach Rs 120 on Dec 30th 2009 at around 2:42 PM.

What I like about Jupiter is almost 100% of its revenues come from India. And it is a company that is on the verge of becoming a proper pharmaceutical company (rather than a maker of drug intermediaries)

The re-rating part would happen when APIs and generics contribute more to the topline and bottomline.

Regarding Ranbaxy - from the latest annual report -

Your Company has allotted 31,77,500 equity share warrants to M/s. RANBAXY LABORATORIES LIMITED on 23.05.2007 and received an amount of Rs.934.18 Lakhs towards subscription for the share warrants allotted. On the due date M/s. RANBAXY LABORATORIES LIMITED, did not exercise the option for converting the equity share warrants into equity
shares and the said warrants are lapsed. The company has forfeited the subscription amount received from M/s. RANBAXY LABORATORIES
LIMITED to the extent of Rs.934.18 Lakhs.

You should probably hold beyond Rs. 120 too - Jupiter Bio (along with Unichem Lab) is one of the least expensive pharma stocks.

Haven't studied Jupiter in detail, but Unichem is trading at the low end of its last 5 years PE range of 3.26 (in Mar-09) & 28.74 (in Dec-05).

Is this Jupiter or "Pluto" - what's happening here? When I saw "gains" of minus 45% in this stock in my moneycontrol portfolio, I thought the stock had split.

I'm surprised that you had even bought this stock in first place.

So I have Big%20smile.

I'm reading up on Moneycontrol messageboard about Jupiter - something about the promoter stealing money from the company and routing it back into the stock via Switzerland (or Swaziland, not sure). Doesn't make much sense though.

Nothing on moneycontrol message board EVER made any sense to me.Co-incidently i just read today that TTK Prestige will hit back-to-back upper circuits till it gets to 15000.

"How to buy? It is in Circuit and may never come out of Circuit for next 2 years. :("
Take your chances and keep them in a box until a quieter time.
