Here is mine:
31 years old, currently working in a sw company in Blore.
Would consider myself an amateur investor, started in 2001, got burnt
in the dotcom fall, so it was like a baptism by fire.
Stayed off the markets next 2 years, and since 2004 have been investing
regularly. Have since recovered all my losses and made profits as well, so
its been quite a journey!
Trying very hard(the key word here is "trying

) to become a value
investor, follow Ramesh Damani on his chats everyweek, (in fact how i came
to know of this site is also through that chat only, when one chatter mentioned about this site). Through him i have learnt the virtue of patience and conviction. Currently mainly innvested in Mcdowell and UB holdings as my core portoflio, and GM Breweries and California Software
as my speculative/potential multibaggers.
I read a lot, have read Beating the Street and One up on Wall Street by Lynch, The wisdom of crowds(another great concept, a must read),
currently reading "Warren Buffet - The making of an American Capitalist"
by Roger Lowenstein - another fabulous book.
Basant, just 3 days into this site and i really like it. Have read a lot
of your past postings, and was really amazed to read your
40-to-1350 pantaloon story. Great stuff! I wish i can do something
like that one day!
